A mad black comedy wannabe but just not mad enough. Narratives/editing sometimes look messy. Nevertheless, still some great situations settings & characters, like the motel room scene & the barber's shop scene. Rosa Maria Bianchi as Carmen is awesome.

The significance of this nicotine obsession, except as a clumsy subplot connector, eluded me entirely, as did that of almost everything else that transpires in this self-satisfied, incoherently busy farce.

Nah, this was a rather sappy late-night experience. The collective reaction was that this was a Argentinian soap with too much shooting. The female characters were idiotic, the young males based on some "becoming a man" anime-cliche, the old males were plain unsympathetic. The psychological layer sucked in other words. The action was boring also, predictable and a not quite understandable. And the attempts at slapstick were embarrassing. Seems I didn't like this one that much. :P
