Wonderful location photography and color in this well-done thriller.

A wife plots her husbands murder in a town near Niagara Falls and as it progressed felt more and more like Hitchcocks. I simply did not see the beauty, that so many others have, not for a moment did I think the scenery was beautiful, I just didn't find the rush of water appealing. Nor do I think Marilyn was at her peak here, there were scenes where she looked gorgeous but she didn't radiate like she does in other films. I think there were moments that I loved, scenes with Monroe, and some interesting camera-work, but overall I think the elements don't work together. This film isn't strong because it doesn't have a clear focus, it jumps around a little. We don't fully understand any other the caracters nor are they developed. We are shown several points of view but none of them are in depth. This film had its moments but I would have wanted to see more.

I took me a while to get into this movie, but towards the end I was biting my nails to know what would happen.

Great story line, and you can't beat the location. Marilyn is wonderful as the seductive wife.

You could do a lot a worse if you were looking for an entertaining movie to kill a few hours with.
