Las Vegas showroom magician Cris Johnson has a secret which torments him: he can see a few minutes into the future. Sick of the examinations he underwent as a child and the interest of the government and medical establishment in his power, he lies low under an assumed name in Vegas, performing cheap tricks and living off small-time gambling "winnings." But when a terrorist group threatens to detonate a nuclear device in Los Angeles, government agent Callie Ferris must use all her wiles to capture Cris and convince him to help her stop the cataclysm.

Well, how can anything with Nicolas Cage and Jessica Biel be bad? But in fact this is a very clever movie, and engrossing right from the beginning. Worth a watch....

Conceptually Next is not a best movie, however the ending is not quite work out for me, it is disappointed and nonsense... Nicolas Cage safe the movie by delivering a solid performance...

nicolas cage is way too magical in this movie-v-the way he knew everything beforehand and made a perfect escape is awesome! haha:D but i don't like the ending, at all. it's just the same as "oh it's just a dream" and i really hate this kind of ending coz it's meaningless- -... but overall it's nice.

PERFECT timing is the cue for this movie! I liked it a lot, nice storytelling, great effects and it really keeps you on your toes.

Well thought out. Complex enough to make those that are inclined to, think of the possibilities; simple enough to just be enjoyed at face-value. A thoroughly enjoyable movie.
