Neerja is emotionally draining, remarkably tense, and surprisingly suspenseful, especially for a true life story where we already know the tragic end.

It is very suspenseful movie! It keeps its viewers at the edge of their seat and making them wonder what will happen next and how the hostages will escape the aircraft. It is sad at the ending, s make sure you bring some tissues! This is a very true story of Neerja Bhanot. You can feel an emotion that is too real to describe! It is like you can totally understand what the characters are going through and you can really feel their emotions. This is a must see movie!

This is a film based on the real-life story of the Head Purser (head flight attendant), Neerja Bhanot, of the Pan Am flight 73 from Bombay to New York which was hijacked in the late 80s. It's an incredible film, critic proof, and I highly recommend it!

Neerja - one of the greatest Bollywood movies ever made about one of the bravest woman, this world ever knew. Sonam Kapoor just made me eat my words. This is her finest performance till date!!! .A movie, which you just wish was a little Bollywood, knowing pretty well the inevitable but still pining for Neeraj to survive....just wish she had!!! It's wonderful to see Shabana Azmi also back at her stellar best. Just watch her delivering the eulogy for her daughter.Take a bucket with you to the hall and I don't mean popcorn. By the time you leave, you might have trouble lugging it out. This is a nerve-racking, brilliant, traumatic experience, which gives you strength to fight against all odds and prevail. This is Cinema, which you sometimes get,when you dive deep enough and get an oyster filled with pearls. No One Killed Jessica, Talvar, Shahid, Neerja - these are a growing breed of movies, which are unforgettable. If you have to watch one Bollywood movie worth its pepper and salt - Then Neerja is your poison.

Neerja - Everyone had great expectations from this movie purely due to the inspirational story of Neerja Bhanot and exceptional courage and bravery that she had portrayed during the flight's hijack. But to weave that real life character and the story-telling of the movie wasn't close to the mark of inspiring or conveying her sacrifice. The character of Neerja was extremely intelligent and brave put unfortunately Sonam Kapoor could't do justice to the role. In simple words the message in the movie was not rightly conveyed, acting didn't do justice to the actual character of Neerja Bhanot and the story-telling was poor, I hope a documentary is made on her with some powerful theatre actors and effective story-telling as this is a story worth telling to everyone. #neerja #neerjamoviereview
