Neerja is a feel-good movie although i felt that it was a bit rushed towards the end, nonetheless it is a beautiful movie. Sonam Kapoor is believable as Neerja, the best performance for her career and what a lovely movie to show it. With soulful music and wonderful acting its worth your while. In the end its gonna leave you teary eyed.

We have a whole group of former Pan Am employees very eager to see this movie. I knew Neerja well as her trainer for Pan am , and I wrote about her in my book, Life, Love and a Hijacking. We all hope the Neerja movie has a long run...she is a true hero. "Neerja" should be a very interesting and an important film to people well-beyond the Indian community. Best of luck.

This is a film based on the real-life story of the Head Purser (head flight attendant), Neerja Bhanot, of the Pan Am flight 73 from Bombay to New York which was hijacked in the late 80s. It's an incredible film, critic proof, and I highly recommend it!
