I feel this movie is the most underrated film of 2010. There are metaphors and literary techniques scattered all around the film, one of the strongest original ideas in a long time. My Soul to Take, never overstayed its welcome, the characters were portrayed very well, the filming was superb not to mention the ending was well constructed. I hope for the continuation of horror films that writers and directors take notes from Wes Craven's latest masterpiece. As for anyone still on the fence about watching My Soul to Take, if you like a good scare, a well written script and to see hope for scary movies as a whole, give this one a watch.

i really enjoy this movie and even watched it a few times. i was shocked that it got crap reviews... until i read that most were bases on the directors previous work. this movie is entertaining in its own way. its not a horror or thriller but it does have some psycological stirrings behind it. im a major horror movie fan and even thou there were no scary parts in this film i still very much enjoyed it.

A friend at work recommended that I watch this movie as I am a hardcorr horror movie fan. I was pleasantly surprised when watching it, although it wasn't ranked well by the majority of the critics I enjoyed the movie. I recommend that everyone watch it! "Now I lay me, down to sleep. I pray the lord, my sould to keep..."
