Fascinating glimpse into the life of a great Buddhist teacher and his disaffected son - the film follows Rinpoche and his son over twenty years capturing the son, Yeshi as he grows up and comes to terms with his strange heritage as a typical Italian teenager and a reincarnation of a great teacher. The film takes a completely unexpected course and is tremendously moving.

My Reincarnation has an effective bifurcated structure that testifies to the level of trust Jennifer Fox clearly established with her subjects.

Especially in the early footage, Chogyal Namkhai Norbu is an engaging, charismatic figure; by the end, Yeshi is finding his own footing, able to relate to a young, wired-in audience. My Reincarnation makes a pretty strong case: when the family business is enlightenment, listen to your dad.

Amazing documentary that chronicles the story of the Tibetan Buddhist Master, Chögyal Namkhai Norbu.

An unusual and enlightening documentary about Tibetan Buddhism, impermanence, a popular spiritual master and his son, who has been designated as the reincarnation of a famous lama.
