Very cute and real story here. I loved it. I just wish there had been more species of monkeys covered except for just 2 but mostly just one type. All in all I loved the characters created in the narrative here (by Tina Fey) and how the story actually made sense to what is happening within the "Monkey Kingdom". It's amazing how smart these creatures are, and well, I guess this leaves it open for a sequel with there being so many different types of monkeys. Likely, this is the nicest species of this type anyway which made is more accessible for Disney to use and families to attend. Disney nature produces yet another winner here.

Monkey Kingdom tugs our heartstrings to the top of the trees. With a lot of patience, and perhaps a little trickery, directors Mark Linfield and Alastair Fothergill have produced a simian “Cinderella.”

So well done. Tina's narration was perfectly done and it was very entertaining. Great for ages 7 and up. (My 6 yr old struggled, but enjoyed it overall)
