Mission Blue is an outstanding film with very touching shots. It showed the dangers that the ocean goes through even though we can't see the effect that humans have on the ocean, the film let us know they are still there. This showed how we can save the ocean without stopping our lifestyle. Sylvia Earle shows us how she sees the ocean how she went back to a coral that was once beautiful and today is lifeless which is the causes of what humans are doing to the ocean. The way the film was put together and constructed demonstrates the danger we are in and makes the audience think what can happen if humans continue to live with the same lifestyle.

I really loved the message of this film, we have been polluting our oceans for a long time now, and now is the time to try to save it. Sylvia love and drive to save the ocean is inspiring. Love the movie and the cause that the movie is for. I will definitely be more conscious of my actions that will affect the ocean.

This movie about Sylvia Earle is truly a inspiring documentary that has given me a wider view of how small our land is compared to the ocean and just how much we don't know. With that most people wouldn't even dare to go near the ocean since its just full risks. It also shows how one person can change the view of many people just because she had the courage to do something. Especially, with swimming with the sharks. The thing that makes it better is that she is a women.

Coming from someone who does not get fazed easily by animals or has little interest in documentaries, Mission Blue is great and exceeded my expectations. Mission Blue effectively persuades the importance of the ocean by providing an inspirational call to immediate action, lots of educational insight to better understand our world, and powerful imagery like the dead sharks, fish, and coral. On top of that, the film serves as a reflection on the modern world, seeing how we must focus on balancing nature's needs with human desires and also on the fight for feminism. The fact that for over 60 years, Sylvia Earle went through 3 marriages, had kids, led several oceanographic groups and explorations when nobody expected a woman to, shows a lot about her character. By seeing her oppose obstacles and embrace her passion for keeping the oceans alive and her love to work for the sea when it has been a dealbreaker for her relationships, we the audience are convinced that we can help protect the ocean too.

Mission Blue is a well produced movie that thoroughly explains the goals and work of marine biologist, Sylvia Earle. I would recommend movie viewers to watch this incredible film since it helps see the importance of the ocean in a different perspective. As explained at the end of the movie, humans typically only see the ocean from the outside, however, this movie allows viewers to go in depth and come to realization that the marine life is slowly being destroyed. This production is great to watch if curious about current oceanic conditions and ways to help improve them. It is family friendly and might even influence children to want to help save the habitats and lives in the ocean. Overall, this movie is truly inspirational and provides knowledgeable information about oceanic issues and solutions to help form a positive future.
