Where did Stillman go?! His first and maybe best of three pretty good movies. Precious, Salinger-esque dialogue. Extreme wit. Sharp class observations. Hilarious.

loved the dialogue and wish i could be a member of U.H.B.

Very charming film. Best way to describe it is as a F. Scott Fitzgerald story/novel set in the early 90's.

Everything I could want in a witty and urbane comedy.

I just watched this again after 17-years ( wow )! Such a great film..NYC never looked better. One of the best movies about post college life ever. Criterion has put out a great version well worth the price.
