Not very good but if based on truth an interesting murder tale

i watched it twice and still didnt understand it.u like couldnt tell which parts where in the past and which were in the present and which ones they were filmin for the movie

The idea for this film is a very interesting one but unfortunately the end result is averagely executed. Elizabeth Hurley is miscast in the lead role (I didn't by into her performance at all) but the underrated Jeremy Sisto is solid as always. The supporting cast were avearge and the script fails to capitalize on the premise. Also it is at times silly, predicable and dull. It has its moments but not enough.

The acting was bad, the actors acting like actors was bad, and the storyline wasn't great. Good watch for a B movie, though.

This is known as Dead Even in the UK. A surprisingly good low budget film. Hurley plays the part of a woman who became a serial killer in the 19th century. She tries to get into the role.....but maybe just a bit too much! Pretty good idea for the plot though it does switch back and forth a lot from the past to present.
