There are moments of this that are sheer perfection. Almost too good to watch

I had to watch this movie a second time to enjoy it. it was a classic. this movie represents, a new genre and a new style . And it also represented a new beginning and change for cinema in the following decade, the 70's.

Despite the 1968 conflict(s) dating the film to a very specific time and place in American history, there's nothing that can't be applied to what's going on today, especially with the new relevance of video images on computers and handheld devices.
