A movie no one saw but John Cusack was amazing. If for nothing but the unique concept this movie is based on it should be viewed.

John Cusack in his best role to date. He plays an art gallery owner who served in WW1 and lost his arm in the process. One day a young Adolf Hitler comes into his life and Max tries to get him to be an artist since Adolf has a great ability to paint realistic portaits and when he goes really deep into himself and his art he's amazing (all true)... sadly the night adolf was to meet max to talk about his art and make a career... well... i dont' want to ruin it... but i makes you cry.

A cool indie focusing on the what if theory, had Hitler actually become an artist as opposed to the tyrranical leader of Germany, would things have become different. The director has us shifting in our seats from the tension and Noah Taylor gives us a career defining performance. Brilliant.

Definitely risking people hating the director in this one! It's almost defending Hitler. Well, this movie is all about the change of Hitler from youth into adulthood. Very well done.
