Meh. Some interesting parts, not worth watching.

This was a lovely little movie, depicting the over-the-top indulgence of team mascots. It kind of reminded me of the move "Best In Show" about the fanatical lives of show-dog owners and their competitive streaks. This movie was funny and entertaining. Parker Posey was absolutely delightful especially in the scene where she almost got disqualified from the show through no fault of her own. See this one if you want a smile on your face all through the movie.

As hard as it is to admit, Guest’s once-incisive satirical bite has grown dull in its familiarity. He doesn’t seem to be having as much fun here and neither are we.

The last half hour is very, very funny - but the first hour isn't by comparison. However, it's still worth watching for the final third. Also, Tom Bennett is basically Ricky Gervais if he was likeable which is a surreal thing to watch!

It wasn't funny at all. Previews made it look like something worth watching and got me hyped up, but it was very weak for a comedy. It could have had a chance based on the premise of the movie; clowning Mascots and how they probably take themselves very seriously, but it failed miserably. I quit watching less than 30 minutes into the movie.
