Self-destructive youngest sister, Agnes (Molly Parker) moves from Toronto back to rural Sydney, Nova Scotia to help her family care for their dying Mother. Her arrival sets in motion a downward spiral of revelations, lies, truths, alcoholism, incest, dysfunction and grief. Molly Parker (Kissed, Six Feet Under, Deadwood & Swingtown) is amazing.

this movie was okay....i only saw it because of ellen page. i actually didn't even remember that i'd seen it until i looked at her filmography here. it was unmemorable.

A sad (yet hopeful) family drama. I liked the way the story unfolded subtlely, without announcing its plot points. Molly Parker is fantastic in it.

I like movies about ordinary people. This one has great acting. The story is dark and unfolds at a good pace - not too fast, not too slow.
