Absolutely terrible...Unfunny, aimless and largely pointless, you'd be better off listening to five minutes of any Carl Barron routine than submitting yourself to yet another Australian feature film that apparently had no audience in mind.

For a comedy film, jokes seem to be few and far between. There also seems to be a lack of stakes here. The story is interesting enough to hold one's attention throughout, but never really becomes exciting. It has a couple of touching moments, though. On the whole, I'd say it's worth checking out if you're in the mood for something really simple.

I feel bad for not liking Manny Lewis more. I'm Australian, I enjoy Carl Barron and I thought a lot of the movie was sort of sweet. But there are just *so* many ridiculous leaps of coincidence to make the story stumble along, it brings you out of the film constantly, and to be honest, it's frequently uninteresting. Romantic Comedy is about as far from my interests as you can get though, so take that with a grain of salt.
