It is a very good movie! It shows a man who is very honourable to Tai Chi,and will do anything to save his masters Temple. I do not know the rating of the movie. I would give it a 12. A MUST WATCH FILM!!!

I thought this was a brilliant directorial debut from Keanu. It's very well put together, with tons of brutal action, a banging soundtrack, a great concept for the story and just all round entertainment. Keanu seems to capture the spirit of the classic martial arts flick perfectly, demonstrated not only by the directing style but in his role as the archetypal lead henchman. His performance borders on Grindhouse and makes me think he'd be perfect for that genre too. I don't know how the guy looks so young as well. He's either been cloned at some point or as had a facelift. A great martial arts flick and one I'll definitely be watching again.

some of the best fight-scenes ever filmed keanu was as wooden and badly cast as ever but still a top film

HOLY SHIT the kung-fu was on point. Yuen Woo Ping is back! 5 stars if the movie didn't waste Iko Uwais.. what a letdown.

Pro forma, sure, but briskly paced. For the most part, the fight scenes are grounded in physical potential, but there are shots and edits that have simple physical magic to them.
