One of the first "mainstream" films that deals with a man's coming to realize his true sexual orientation. Unlike Brokeback Mountain, this has a "Hollywood ending" in that most characters live "happily ever after." Thanks to Flixter (Hannah) for adding this ground breaking film within 1 day of my request!

A married Dr. comes to terms with his homosexual feelings after having an affair with a young gay writer. A little dated, but the situation is timely and believeable. This film was sensitive to the homosexual lifestyle - to the point of sanitation in my view. I couldn't help but feel a little sad for everyone in this movie - sad for the Dr, and particularly sad for his wife.

a sad story of a marriage gone wrong .. interesting in that it was about homosexuality and the effects it can have one people.
