The opportunistic Jean marries an older man, plantation owner Don Luis, for financial security and finds herself falling for his virile right-hand man, Carlos. Jealous of Carlos' position and fearing that Jean will inherit Luis' money, his greedy cousin, Miguel, does his best to turn Luis against the would-be lovers and come out on top in the process.

Absolutely loved it. Rodriguez is an awsome director. Danny Trejo, Steven Segal, Robert De Niro all did a good job.

As Quentin Tarantino film "Kill Bill" as a tribute, so is Machete, what do they have in common, is they are both creative and well written. This films has excellent preformerances by Danny Trejo, Jessica Alba, Steven Seagal and a brilliant preformance from Robert De Niro, and a strange some what come back for Linsay Lohan who bares all in this film. Danny Trejo lives up to his style as being a hardcore action star, with cool tough guy moves and catch phrases as well as acting, one would believe he had lived this in real life. This is an excellent story of: power, action, revenge, betrayal, boarder potrol, and above all action. This fill will be regaurd as one of Rodriguez top Ten
