A little disjointed, but a movie about david lynch is supposed to be that way. I love the rant about the monkey. I thought it'd be more about making "inland empire," but oh well. I love David Lynch. He makes me smile.

Undeniably the best David Lynch documentary. The cameras follow Lynch first on a photography project, painting, while he runs his website, but then also making "Inland Empire". The film is pure insight into the creative man's thought process. Missing though is meditation which is talked about, but not fully shown. There's one thing for certain while watching it: The man isn't crazy.

I was really disappointed with this. Pretty as a Picture and dozens of others offer more insight into the art of Lynch and scratches the surface of how he works..this doesn't really. While it features a few interesting scenes that are you classic Davey, it just doesn't hold up, especially to Lynch 2 on the Inland Empire DVD.

Middle America as its supposed to be. But on the cherry tree there's this pitch ozing out -- some black, some yellow, and millions of red ants crawling all over it.
