It was slow, but for once it was a realistic movie without judgement or bias. You are left to debate is it luck or persistence that takes you to your dreams.

The subtle layers in each scene are alone worth repeat viewing of this effort. It is brilliant, shot beautifully from a woman's perspective (a guy just couldn't execute the starlet seduction scene, the way it was done). I loved the cameos, adored the indulgence all around, and the honesty everyone put in. Konkana put her best too, but I am getting extremely tired of her. As with Dil Kabaddi, she just takes out so much from every scene that she is in. She is over exposed, in my humble opinion, and there is only so much Konkana that the silver screen will take. After a while, if she continues, she would just disappear.

This is an mazing movie, flawless sattire of the Bollywood industry. The irony of realising that your a part of what seems like a cirucs, yet a wiling participant is wonderfully captured. Think 'Bollywood Calling' (Nagesh Kuknoor) with a more cohesive, and serious plot combined with powerful cast performances. Subtle comic scenes like the film institute, heroine trying to touch producers feet in an awfully tight costume, producers smearing vermillon on the tapes to be auspicious show the, seemingly paradoxical functioning of Indian film industry. A must watch.
