Farhan wasn't as impressive as he was in Rock On... and the movie was conceived well, but got caught up and pulled in too many directions... begins somewhat slow and leaves several loose ends unexplained even in the end... overall message is simple and good - but slow TP

A very Good movie... a bit of a drag in between... but otherwise brilliant. Loved the way they show bollywood and the things some people need to do to make it big there. Big fan of Farhan Akthar!! Well done!!

nice film... loved it... da best part abt it is its attention to detail... u'll lyk it if u've been a hindi film buff, with all its eccentricities... farhan and konkona are perfect in their characters... rishi, juhi, dimple, hrithik play their roles ...

the story is not new but the way it has been told is new and i think thats what works. the movie did not exactly move me but i loved the colours, sets and symbols. coming to the most important part of the movie, FARHAN AKHTAR- he is sooo hot! loved him and brilliant perofrmance.. man.. he is so cute!

Overall a satisfying watch. In the first half there are times during which I wished it moved fast. A largely predictable plot line was also to blame for that. However, the performances, especially by Konkana, kept the film engaging. The second half is more tightly packed and I also liked the way it ended. Zoya, in her debut, has largely played it safe. I would have loved if she took a more adventurous take on the film world and did not resort to cliche. Still a commendable debut effort.
