Incredible chemistry between the two leads, and storyline that hinted at the complications of love and friendship in a way that was deceptively simple, gentle, and honest.

I felt story went nowhere. Even though the actresses were beautiful and lovely to watch it really did feel like watching paint dry. It was very flat and I had no emotional connection to any of the people in this movie. It felt so timid that I was about ready to jump out of my skin. I was wishing something would happen. It did not have any. It was a bore. It needed a little space and it had absolutely none.

Kim shows this conflict with remarkable restraint, with meaningful glances and pained half-smiles conveying much more feeling between Sarah and Mindy than the cheery things they say to each other.
