The best performance of this man, a really original Theme, a depressing story that takes you deep in the heart.

Hoffman does a great job in this character study of a man who turns to huffing gas to deal with the death of his wife. This is the role that should've garnered him the attention that he later found with Capote.

Philip Seymour Hoffman is astounding in this study of a man broken and forever changed by the suicide of his spouse. Many dark comedic moments. Also, Bates is amazing as usual.
