I love the Thin Man movies and this has the same cast. I took a chance on watching this one becasue of the leads, even though I have never heard of it, and I was pleasantly suprised at how funny the movie was. I laughed out loud a few times and both my wife and I really enjoyed it. It is too bad that the movie is not as well known as some of the other screwball comedies of this time, because it is a movie that still works 60 years later. I could see Hollywood remaking this movie very easily. If you like old romantic comedies, check this one out.

Cute and has lots of funny moments, but it's no Thin Man movie or Libeled Lady.

I turned on TCM one afternoon and was fortunate to stumble across this hilarious, madcap comedy. The story revolves around a married couple in love, preparing to celebrate their 4th wedding anniversary. The husband runs into an old girlfriend and finds himself in one compromising position after another. Due to this misunderstanding, the wife decides to file for divorce and now the husband's only solution to stop the proceedings is to pretend he is insane. Naturally, this backfires and chaos ensues. Basically it ends up with William Powell in drag. Very funny and quite entertaining from beginning to end!
