Rookie police officer Jessica Loren has been assigned the last shift at a closing police station and must wait for a hazmat crew to collect biomedical evidence. Ordered not to leave the station under any circumstances, Jessica comes to learn that it's more than just an outdated station, it's home to the ultimate embodiment of evil and his devoted bloodthirsty followers. Jessica is left to fend for herself in the Devil's playground.

A short yet interesting horror movie showcasing an eerie last shift at a soon-to-be abandoned Police Station, Juliana Harkavy makes the sale for this movie with a emotional and dedicated performance. If you're interested in some late night creepy/horror scares, then it's worth a watch on Netflix.

The film is like playing a really good indie horror game (and indeed, the film would work better as an indie horror game). Lots of genuinely bizarre and freaky stuff goes down in this film, but nothing ever really happens. The whole film is just our lead exploring a haunted police station while creepy things happen almost constantly. The film is literally all build-up with no payoff. That said, this is some real nice build-up. There's no denying that Last Shift was made on a lower budget (and featuring one of THE WORST horror props I've ever seen in a film. It literally looked like something I could buy at Spirit Halloween), but I had a lot of fun with it.

For a movie I found on Netflix it was a VERY good movie. I'm not one to leave reviews. Ever. But this one I felt like I needed to review. This movie was so well scripted, directed and carried out as a whole I felt like it could POSSIBLY be based off of a true story. Thought the setting is very average. The script is written to you into the sheets of reality, before it grabs you by the ankle and pulls you under into the true horror built into the film. I've seen very few that were better. But as mentioned above I found it on Netflix. And so far. It's the ONLY movie I've found on Netflix that is worth a second and even a third watch.

A brilliant horror that delivers without much gore, violence, or dark scenes. The movie is carried by Juliana Harakavy, who plays a rookie trying to prove herself on her first night. Her performance is convincing, and manages to get the audience to genuinely worry about her character. This is the strongest element of the movie. It keeps the audience on edge wondering what can happen next to the protagonist, and how will she survive.
