If this was done with quality animation, it could have been something special.

A violent anime-inspired animated movie about a scantically-clad woman fighting demons. It's based on an obscure comic book, and I only watched it to try and complete my quest to see every comic-based movie ever made. I would probably have loved this when I was 16, but I (and the times) have changed too much. Despite all that, It was still better than I was expecting (just).

Despite some neat visuals and decent characterization, the voice acting was only "meh" and the plot was a mish-mash of all the origin stories from the comics, making this little more than mindless entertainment for Lady Death fanboys to drool over until they realize how much better it could be.

Now this is the only Anime that u will ever catch me watching... and it was rather good :)

Being a huge fan of the comics I was excited to see this movie and then Chaos Comics collapsed and it looked as if this would never see the light... and then a few years later it struggled out to DVD. As an anime flick it's decent enough to the uninitiated but sadly the selling off of Chaos' properties ensured some of the original origin characters, most notable Puragtori, fail to make it to the screen. The voice acting and sound effects leave a lot to be desired and what could have been a brave venture to bring in new readers is unsatisfying all round.. that said.. it very nearly never came to be at all.
