There were some bits that were too computerised and not mechanical enough like the new super pursuit equivlent but there were others that looked good modernised, like the bullets bouncing off, Hoff didn't do much, there was no turbo boost, but overall I enjoyed this. It may not be the original but it IS KR and you can feel that :)

I went into this expecting to hate it (as a huge childhood fan of Knight Rider) and I actually truly enjoyed it. The journey of Mike Traceur from disillusionment to finding his calling felt authentic. I found that (for me) KITT had just enough changes to update him for the 21st century without betraying the past. His voice was maddening, but I believe that was intentional. I loved the little touches of the original music, and the ending scene with KITT deploying on his first mission was, I feel, the perfect blend of homage to the original and updated approach. On my wishlist for inclusion would have been the fate of the original KITT - I really wanted to see him driving away from the cemetery in the background.

I am a big fan of Knight rider series. I grew up watching the original show. This modern version is different yet i think it works with the new times and ideas. I will miss the original Kit. But as Knights son Mike is young and the new car fits him. If they make another movie i will watch it. I thought the new car was great. I am still not sure about some of the characters but only time will tell. And it was great to see David make a guest appearance.

This car was actually very hot...it did the original K.I.T.T justice.
