Granted, the film might not have turned out much better had Smit stuck with one perspective or the other, but at least it would have had constancy. Instead, it reads strictly as a video game, sans the requisite interactive gratification.

It started out interesting enough but the low budget really breaks the immersion. The computer generated parts look great, but the live prop guns are plasticky, cars old beaters and the story seems like an afterthought tacked on top of the sci-fi premise of stealing energy from a parallel universe.

It's got a cool premise, but it's completely squandered with the lame first person gimmick. It gets old very quick, as I feel like I'm just watching a video game, replete with corny acting, and uninspired setpieces. You can't engage with the main character in this format, even when you have a good actor, like Stevens. So we should stop trying to make this style a thing...

This movie appears interesting but was very bad and boring instead. The perspectives of the cameras were very annoying and i nearly felt asleep during the film. Can not recommend this.

A visually imaginative but narratively incoherent exercise that provides viewers the unwelcome opportunity to feel what it’s like to watch a video game being played by someone else.
