Quentin Tarantino's first part of his hack & slash extravaganza is a visually satisfying and stunning showcase of his talents, a fun and brutal display of action and raw emotion, and the perfect opportunity for Uma Thurman to show how badass she is. Stylish to a fault and an unforgettable action flick in all the right ways.

Over the top action complemented with an amazing soundtrack, Kill Bill vol. 1 takes classic Japanese film and mixes it with current anime style, in both the live action and animated segments of the movie, with his own Tarantino style that makes the movie culturally cognizant with a hop in it's step.

Kill Bill Volume 1 is a fantastic revenge and action movie(with some comedy) that is very well developed and written. Quentin Tarantino makes a wonderful film about Beatrix Kiddo has a death list and is following it after a massacre at her practice wedding involves the people on the list: Bill(her ex-boyfriend), O-Ren, Budd, Elle, and Vernita. The only problem is that this is only the first half of this adventure. But it's still enjoyable.

The House of Blue Leave scene is one of the most amazing fight sequences i've ever seen. This movie is just super cool - a brutal econimical ode to the Asian Samaria Kung Fu movies - but without it getting repetative and boring the way they usually do. I can remember almost screaming with glee when Lucy Liu chopped that guys head off and that ridiculous, continuous blood spray exploded from his neck stump. Volume 2 is wicked as well and The Bride vs. Ele Drive fight is fucking awesome. Can't wait to see what comes of the whole bloody affair.
