Yuta Okkotsu is a nervous high school student who is suffering from a serious problem—his childhood friend Rika has turned into a curse and won't leave him alone. Since Rika is no ordinary curse, his plight is noticed by Satoru Gojo, a teacher at Jujutsu High, a school where fledgling exorcists learn how to combat curses. A great prequel story for Jujutsu Kaisen. Yuta isn't particularly interesting in my opinion, but I think the movie really nails down the fight scenes and the action, also Yuta's backstory is decently made, and the other characters are mostly likeable, it's a fun watch overall.

I have not read the manga but watched all of season 1 and loved it. MAPPA kills it in this movie. The fight scenes are remarkable and I have no problem with the pacing. I actually enjoyed learning more about the 2nd year Jujutsu High students Maki, Toge and Panda. After my viewing i went to Barnes and Noble and bought the manga. If you liked season 1, like battle anime, Go check this movie out.

So whether you’ve been following Jujutsu Kaisen for years or are just hearing about it for the first time now, check out Jujutsu Kaisen 0 if you ever get the chance. It’s the kind of rare movie that actually has something (awesome) for everyone.

This movie was quite enjoyable with the Very well done fighting scenes and music, but with all anime the redundant stereotypes that had occurred dragged for a bit and annoyed me for a bit but after that the movie was quite well done.

Je connaissait pas l'anime quand je suis allé voir le film au ciné, c'était sympa et j'ai (presque) tout compris
