Jude (1996)

In late 19th-century England, Jude aspires to be an academic, but is hobbled by his blue-collar background. Instead, he works as a stonemason and is trapped in an unloving marriage to a farmer's daughter named Arabella. But when his wife leaves him, Jude sees an opportunity to improve himself. He moves to the city and begins an affair with his married cousin, Sue, courting tragedy every step of the way.

I saw this one a while ago but it remains one of my favorite movies. Great acting and a strong, dramatic love story.

Esta cinta no podÃa acabar bien. Se me hace bien lograda y creo que va desdibujando muy bien absolutamente todo y TODO no pudo llegar a otro final que el que presentaron. Esta cinta demuestra tambiÃ (C)n que el pensamiento colectivo tiene que evolucionar en algÃºn momento y para ello es necesario que alguien comienza, aunque eso signifique que se convierta en rechazado social. Maravillosa la forma en que Kate Winslet te transporta a ese punto sin retorno y cÃ³mo se complementa con Christopher Eccleston. Una de las mejores actuaciones de ambos.

I can't watch this again because of one scene. If you've seen it, you know which one. But I remember it being gorgeous.
