I just saw this at the AFI Dallas Festival last night and it was outstanding. I had only known several songs by Joy Division, but have always been a huge fan of New Order. It was interesting to learn about the history of the band before the band. They did a great job of focusing attention on the music and the lives of the guys and those closest to them.

A film that fills in the gaps in one of the most iconic stories in contemporary music. I did find that on a big screen, what appeared to be a DVD master was at times suffering from lossy compression, particularly with colour areas.
