Redemption and forgiveness are the themes of this potent drama in which a man is driven by his conscience...Unforgettable and powerful, this is a unique work with a pulsating heart.

Busting up prejudices against Afghanistan's people is as high as this well-intentioned but morally simplistic white-guilt trip can aim.

This is not the usual war porn. Its an original and touching story about an australian soldier dealing with killing an innocent afghan, going back to look for his victims family and make amends. Loved it.

Its very existence seems to constitute an act of compassion.
