At Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris, a beautician on her way to a new job in Mexico accidentally meets a cook who is on his way back from America. Labor strikes, bad weather, and pure luck cause the two of them to share a room overnight at the airport Hilton hotel. Will their initial mutual indifference and downright hostility turn into a one night stand or perhaps something more?

Sort of like a light but entertaining Lost in Translation sort of movie, with great cooking too.

What makes Jet Lag almost work is the unexpected chemistry between the ethereal Binoche and the gravelly Reno.

This is a simple romantic comedy, and I mention it only because at one point Julliette Binoche has a close up of her face as she let's her hair down while drying her hair with a towel, and it is the first and only time a film ever made me blush.

Jean Reno is a chef who is trying to win back the love of a woman, while Juliette Binoche is a beautician who has just run away from her boyfriend. A phone mishap ensures that the two of them cross paths & keep crossing paths as all flights out of the Paris airport are cancelled. At first they can't stand each other, but their prying into each others lives opens up some old wounds. Liked it but didn't love it. Juliette Binoche is a very attractive woman, but that only becomes clear after she has removed her makeup.
