Very dark comedy but the tap dancing on rollerblades sequence is out of this world.

Not your typical, sunny (pardon the title-related pun) storyline for a musical. It's a little more cynical than I expected, but with good comic touches and a wonderful cast. Gene Kelly is, as always, amazing. The rollerskating scene is fantastic. Worth a look.

The trashcan lid dance and Gene Kelly's dance on roller skates were great, but the movie was only so-so.

A dark musical that tends to be overlooked. Although not as good as Gene's other musicals, it's still entertaining. I love the number when he dances on roller skates.
