It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie (2002)

The owner of a bank (Miss Bitterman) wants to own the Muppet Theatre so she can build a nightclub over it. After she tricks Pepe into giving her the only copy of the contract between her father and the Muppets, she changes it so the Muppets have very little time to pay a debt they owe. Meanwhile, the Muppets are trying to put on a Christmas show. After the Muppets are confronted by Bitterman, they make a lot of sacrifices to save up so they can keep the Theatre.

Got to love the muppets. I liked treasure island more though.

Although obviously not as good as Christmas Carol, this still gave some good laughs and another chance to see Pepe the King Prawn!

I love this movie, it's a Christmas classic! Every thing and everyone did a great job in this movie!

Man, the whole muppet slide continues. Even though it has one brilliant joke at the very beginning with Mel Brooks as a snowman, it quickly falls apart after that. Kermit and company are losing their theatre to a greedy developer, and it takes intervention from above to make things right. Too bad it did'nt fix Joan Cusack's truly horrendous performance while they were at it. Not too sure what she was told, but she can be good, but here she's just really really bad. Some godawful songs, Kermit not really acting like Kermit, oh, and Matthew Lillard. God help us all.
