Martin Scorsese filmant ses parents, immigres siciliens de la premiere generation arrive a New York dans les annees 20-30. Le moment de la recette de cuisine de la Mama Scorsese est genial !!! Et est complet dans le generique de fin. On peut faire une analyse sociologique de ce film. Mais je ne pense pas que Martin ait eu cette intention la de bout en bout. Hommage a ses parents, decedes aujourd'hui. Pour info, la mere de Scorsese a joue dans la moitie des films de son fils.

A tender and poignant portrait of Scorsese's parents. Their matter-of-fact approach is both hilarious and very insightful. Not only does this one hour documentary capture the thoughts and feelings of Italians immigrating to New York, but it's also a touching snapshot of Marty's endearing family history.
