Paul, a man suffering from cerebral palsy, lives an unfulfilled life in a nursing home. Sitting in his wheelchair, he fantasizes about a life in which people understand him, women find him irresistible, and he is be a force to be reckoned with. It's one of the most queasy-making and confrontational films of the year, in which a deliberately artless presentation...takes the sting out of some extremely unruly content.

Just saw it. Brilliant porno starring a dude with cerebral palsy. Same dude directs with Crispin Glover, who rules. Plus the whole thing is super beautiful.

To say the film is weird would be cliché, it's way beyond that the film drew laughs and gasps from the audience. The odd thing about it all -- it works.

Simpler in scope and narrative than "What is it?" and therefore somehow more satisfying but less stimulating. The sets, the lack of subtitles, the eroticism, the violence, the music, the film stock ... it's all pretty amazing but by the end I was simply waiting for the next shock and wasn't as fully absorbed as "What is it?".
