A memorable romantic comedy that stands to bring back the genre’s good name, “It Had to Be You” is as funny, endearing and enjoyably off-kilter as its adorable star, Cristin Milioti.

several genuine LOLs while watching this movie. if you're 25-55 years old, you'll almost certainly know these characters very well, and relate to them. as everyone is saying, milioti was charming, but so were the supporting characters. what's also nice is that the movie takes itself just seriously enough to keep your interest, but not more. just a guilt and angst-free way to enjoy yourself for 1.5 hours or so. i def recommend.

I loved this movie! Laugh out loud funny and Cristin Milioti is amazing. I don't usually like romantic comedies but this one was totally refreshing. Nice to see the genre isn't dead.

This movie's such a pleasure. It's a light rom-com, but it has a deeper sense of place and character than most, and its protagonist is genuinely...it's not like it gestures towards "oh she doesn't have it together", it's like _she doesn't have it together_, so it's really satisfying to watch her journey.
