The biggest B-movie the world has ever seen ...

A 3 of 5 stars rating for this sci-fi action movie. Bugs both flying and walking somehow take over the world (or at least the part of the world we know about) and use the people for food. We follow a group of people trying to solve this infestation. As this genre of movie goes, this one is pretty good. It is worth watching.

A thoroughly enjoyable comedy creature feature... The effects are a step above those of the SY FY channel, but it's just light and fun... In the same vein of Evolution and Eight Legged Freaks, but without all the backstory. From about 5 minutes in, there's giant bugs... And any movie that has work shenanigans called "The Game" has to be good... Brings back some good memories of Virgin Orlando... "Guys, i got one for THE GAME"....

Extremely likeable big bug movie with the usual group of misfits, led by slacker Cooper (Marquette), fighting to survive and head for the insects' nest on a rescue mission. A simple set up (no back story or explanation given - nor required), Infestation just gets on with it and succeeds by trying to avoid too many cliches and maintaining a light tongue-in-cheek tone throughout. The effects aren't bad for its type, there are some neat action scenes, and having Ray Wise on board as Cooper's ex-military Dad is simply a bonus. Great late night fare.
