The writer/director (James Lapine) and the cast (Judy Davis, Hugh Grant, Bernadette Peters, Mandy Patinkin, Emma Thompson, Julian Sands) says it all.

Hugh Grant makes a fantastic Chopin; I just loved the film.

B Grade movie. Funny to see a very young Hugh Grant as Chopin... just not right!!!

What a cast! And an entertaining, witty movie about some of my favorite artists from one of my favorite periods of history. Beautifully filmed. Has anyone else reviewing this actually read a novel by George Sand? I did.
