A well-scripted and engaging film with a number of plot surprises. Robinson convincing as usual in his role of fallen district attorney. A gritty noir black-and-white legal mystery.

I'm a HUGE Edward G. Robinson fan...This film wasn't his beat, but it's always good to see Edward G...in action. I loved the scene when, he punches the guy in the "chops" knocking him to the floor...Good Stuff!!!
