the animation is enjoyable to watch but everything else falls kinda flat...a few good laughs but not enough to keep me entertained for 60 plus minutes...perhaps this would have been better as a series

This movie starts off with several quotes, one is "When I hear the word 'culture' I reach for my gun." from Hermann Göring. At that more or less sums up the tone of the movie. This movie completely ignores established aesthetics, conventions, or even polite society. And at it's heart, it's a love aria for the crazy and the twisted. I can't recomend it enough.

Bill Plympton is one of the best independant animators ever. This film is filled with bizarre visual non-sequitors and side-splitting humor. It also features the single greatest sex scene ever in a movie. While our hero is making love to his wife, every inanimate object in the room proceeds have sex in unison with the couple. Combs rub against brushes, lightbulbs screw and unscrew themselves, men's dress shoes thrust themselves inside ladies pumps... you get the idea. Genius.

Drugs without the drugs. (besides the ones that Plympton was on)
