Three generations of Garcia women cope with loneliness, boredom, cynicism, and the awkwardness of lust and possible romance.

I've seen student films with more technical savvy, but watch this and try not to fall in love with these people. That's right, not characters, PEOPLE. Elizabeth Peña is amazing.

Picture a scorpion crawling along the desert sand , approaching its victim unknowingly then.... oh wait this is not a nature show, but as intresting as some bugs lifes are they don't compare to the larger more fasinating lives of Lions and Tigers. I guess Ugly Betty did not translate well to few characters in this Chick flick. To Rural for me. Not urban enough.

Like Blanca and her friends, walking languidly down the street, then spontaneousy grabbing a shopping cart for a ride, Reidel plays with the rhythm of her enjoyably unhurried tale.
