Havaldar Balkar Singh, Captain Dhananjay Shergill and Lieutenant Sahil Naqvi are amongst numerous fatalities on India's side in the 1999 Kargil war against Pakistan. All 3 men had written their last letters to Kuljeet Kaur, Squadron Leader Vikram Singh, and Dr. Naqvi respectively. These letters were located 3 years later by IBN Reporter, Avinash Sarin, who entrusts them to two Indore-based slackers, Ali Shah and Sameer Suri, and asks them to deliver them to Chandigarh, Manali, and Leh respectively. Ali and Sameer set out to film this journey in order to get a graduation degree so that they can re-locate to America as well as televise it widely in order to convince the youth not to join any of India's armed forces.

If you are the director/producer/ or anything to do with the making of the movie then "PLEASE GIVE ME REFUND FOR MY TICKET" What a waste of time. The director surely needed to thank all the credits he did before the movie started. Cause he knew the way he's made the movie they are all going to kill him for this.

Strictly average film. Preity steals the show, followed by Salman. Vatsal is competent while the others are average [except Sunny who was awful]. Direction was just about okay. The pace was REALLY slow and those insipid songs didn't help either!! Wait for the DVD.

While the concept was heart warming, the movie failed to deliver. It was predictable, hammed and as a result not emotion evoking in any sense. Using eye candies like Sen and Arora was absolutely not required. Sunny Deol should have practiced how to emote instead of showing his patriotism overtly. And please somebody tell the Khans to keep their shirts on. Overall the movie is awful. Not worth watching.A star just for Preity for showing she is not just a pretty face, for the concept, and for Dvij. Boy's got some talent.

Was actually very pleasently surprised with this flick ! Excellent plotline/concept Nice and touching stories ... Brings out the patriot in you ... and I am not even an Indian ... !!!! For once no Paki-bashing ... Some moments really touch your soul ... good watch after the first 15 minutes ...

I loved the movie. It's a lot of propaganda for military and the fight scene with Sunny Deol is pretty bad, but otherwise, I really liked it. The acting was good, the music was great and the scenery was majestic. Most of the songs should only have been there, no choreography or singing. I am happy I saw it on the big screen!
