Modern coming of age story that speaks to today's generation. Very enlightened.

A movie that keeps you guessing and wincing about what Nia Vardalos is going to do next. She balances a very difficult character.

This film is terrible. Don't watch it. A mother applies for a gay scholarship for her son who isn't gay. It is awful.

What should have been a nice little comedy is overwhelmed by Nia Vardalos who doesn't come across as overly involved - she just seems psychotic. It's evident that the director simply lost control when Vardalos signed on. The tone is way off. Vardalos was clearly beyond taking any direction. The other actors are fine - and there is a nice relationship between the boy and his father. But Vandals is just unwatchable.
