Saw this at an isolated movie theater in Spain and didn't expect it to be too amazing but it definitely exceeded my expectations. The plot and music were fantastic and the grand scenes that were actually shot in Cuba gives it that nice taste.

excellent first half -- very, very cool. cool subject, cool cinematography, cool people. but it gets a little saccharine over the second half. but overall still worth spending two hours with.
