There is something teeth-grindingly cutesy about the whole thing, reaching epic levels of dippiness in the, ahem, nude trumpet-playing scenes. That makes it sound interesting, come to think of it, and perhaps it is.

20 somethings trying to figure out what they want in life, what they care about, and what kind of person they'll end up with. It's a little painful to watch, especially because I can identify with wanting something intensely and being sick of it the minute you get it, realizing "oh, this is not it." Greta Gerwig is perfect as Hannah.

I just learned a new word. It's all about the mumblecore. This is a name given to low budget films which centre about the barely audible conversations that twentysomethings have about their romantic lives. It's weird but I could identify with the semi-screwed up Hannah in a way.
