What drags the movie down is a reliance on broad gags and characters and an oddly paced narrative.

Roe McDermott 11 Jul 2017

Well-intentioned but disappointing in its predictability.

Jamie Neish 12 Aug 2018

Conor McDermottroe, who directed and co-wrote the script with Mark O'Halloran (also starring in the film as Omar), imbues the film with warmth and affectionate for small town life.

Hilary A White 13 Jul 2017

The real bounty of Conor McDermottroe's film is its core cast -- all of whom beam with sparkle and vigour.

Sarah McIntyre 29 Jun 2017

A slight plot doesn't hinder Conor McDermottroe's feelgood culture clash comedy which delivers heart and sincerity in spades.
