Flag waving reaction to the war in the Pacific, exemplified by the rather preachy summary by Randolph Scott at the end. The war scenes are nothing too spectacular.

Rousing World War II story, good cast but it is pretty routine for the time. Good pace, it always held my interest. The characters are well developed. Combines war drama with a documentary style approach.
