Goon (2012)

Doug Glatt, a slacker who discovers he has a talent for brawling, is approached by a minor league hockey coach and invited to join the team as the "muscle." Despite the fact that Glatt can't skate, his best friend, Pat, convinces him to give it a shot, and Glatt becomes a hero to the team and their fans, until the league's reigning goon becomes threatened by Glatt's success and decides to even the score.

I LOVED this movie! It was hilarious and perfectly cast! It definitely did the book justice!

This movie is OUT OF CONTROL!!!! Funny! Bad language and senseless violence.

Ok, Ill admit it, I gave this movie 5 stars cause its a hockey movie :) All and all though, if you like hockey you will enjoy this movie. Sean William Scott works well in this role, but the character he plays is a little "off". Give it a whirl, just make sure you dont have a game to play afterwords--if so, you will definitely get 5 for fighting :)

It's been a long time since I've seen a move this captivating. The dialogue was among the best I've ever experienced, and the humor was on par with any of the classic comedies. I wished the movie was longer so that I could continue to enjoy it's cinematic excellence. I highly recommend this film!!!!!
